OPEX ® Introduces Right-Speed™ Scanning Technology to Information Management Experts in Europe

Share

OPEX® Corporation, a global leader in Next Generation Automation for almost 50 years, is introducing leading-edge Document and Mail Automation technology on 22 June 2022 to attendees of the Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) Forum Europe in London.

OPEX’s new Gemini™ high-volume scanner is “Right-Speed™,” an unrivaled scanning capability that enables different types of documents to be scanned at different speeds without changing equipment to maximize throughput and operational efficiency.

“Gemini scans the widest range of document types, sizes and conditions—and handles them at the right speed for the job,” said Scott Maurer, President, OPEX International. “Whether documents need to be scanned at high speed, packet speed or drop feed, Gemini is the most versatile scanner available.”

With scan speeds of up to 240 pages per minute, the Gemini scanner features a dual-feeder design and the ability for continuous feeding. Its five programmable sort bins enable unique sorting capabilities and easy document handling. Other features include software configurability, scalability for the future, best-in-class service, and an ergonomic, customizable work area designed to enhance operator comfort and productivity.

Ideal for service bureaus, BPOs, government institutions, tax entities, medical records companies, insurance agencies, law firms, and a host of other industries, the Gemini scanner with “Right-Speed” technology was first unveiled in April in the U.S. during the 2022 AIIM Conference in Denver, Colorado.

“We are excited to showcase the Gemini scanner and ‘Right-Speed’ technology to customers across Europe who are looking for document automation solutions to solve their most pressing business challenges,” said Maurer. “We have been expanding our facilities, personnel and infrastructure to meet the growing automation needs of customers in Europe and around the world.”

An AIIM Forum Europe Partner, OPEX will be the only company demonstrating equipment live at the event.

In the coming months, OPEX will be able to demonstrate the Gemini scanner and “Right-Speed” technology at company facilities in Germany, France and the U.K. Customers who do not wish to travel in person can attend private webinars to learn about the Gemini scanner and the rest of OPEX’s existing Document and Mail Automation portfolio, which includes the Falcon® Series of high-volume, one-touch scanners that eliminate or significantly reduce prep time.

With generations of industry expertise, a proven track record developing first-class automation capabilities and advanced engineering, and a heritage of excellence, OPEX continuously reimagines automation technology to help clients solve their most significant business challenges today and in the future. For nearly five decades, OPEX has served as a trusted partner, collaborating closely with clients to develop customized, scalable solutions.
