Modernising treatment plant in Vänersborg

The client is Vänersborg Kretslopp & Vatten. The value of the contract is SEK 152 million excluding VAT, and the contract will be carried out as a turnkey contract.

Vänersborg is the regional capital of Västra Götaland. The city is growing and will soon reach 40,000 inhabitants. Holmängen’s treatment plant will be capable of connecting more households successively and meet the capacity needs of the future.

The contract involves the construction of new basins and buildings, as well as rebuilding, renovating and modernising the current facility to meet future treatment requirements. Work comprises complete facilities including buildings and groundwork, machinery, plumbing and electrical installations, and design and construction work.
