New Disposal Contract Awarded to AF Environmental Base Vats

AF Offshore Decom has been awarded a contract by Heerema Marine Contractors for the onshore disposal of offshore facilities.
The scope includes the reception, dismantling and recycling of three topsides and three jackets, with a combined weight of approximately 17,600 metric tonnes. All disposal work will be carried out at AF Environmental Base Vats. The structures will be transported in multiple trips by a semi‑submersible crane vessel and are expected to be delivered during 2027.

The client is Drammen Helsepark AS, which has established the project company DHP Bygg BK4‑2 AS as the contracting entity. The contract is valued at NOK 731 million excluding VAT and will be delivered as a turnkey contract. Drammen Helsepark AS is wholly owned by Bane NOR Eiendom AS.
