easyJet has arrived at Avinor’s Oslo Airport
easyJet is the latest addition to the route network offered by Avinor Oslo Airport (OSL), offering direct flights between Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Norway’s primary airport. This has increased capacity between the two capital cities by more than 131,000 seats per year.
‘We are thrilled to welcome easyJet to Oslo Airport. This route will contribute to creating value and provide passengers with good options to Central Europe and onto the rest of easyJet’s substantial network,’ says Jasper Spruit, Avinor’s Vice President Traffic Development.
‘The route will also bring more travellers to Norway and have a positive impact on both tourism and industry.’
‘An exciting opportunity’
Thomas Haagensen, easyJet’s Country Director for Germany, is delighted to have the new route in place.
‘Today marks our first flight from Berlin-Tegel to Oslo Airport and an exciting new step for easyJet. It is great to add a new Scandivanian destination to our network and we are confident that Oslo will prove popular with holidaymakers and business travellers from Berlin this summer,’ he says.
easyJet flies between Berlin Tegel and Oslo Airport daily every day of the week.
