Teppet går ned for det første året av prosjektet «Euphoria – Europeisk produksjon av frukt og grønnsaker: en garanti for kvalitet og velvære», realisert med bidrag fra Den europeiske union for å promotere unionens utmerkede frukt og grønnsaker hos sluttforbrukere og bransjeaktører i Sveits og Norge.

Tolv måneder med kommunikasjons-, informasjons- og promoteringsaktiviteter som startet første februar 2020 og som har måttet overkomme sanitære, logistiske og menneskelige utfordringer forårsaket av covid-pandemien, har likevel lyktes i målet om å sette spor i hjertene til sveitsiske og norske forbrukere, takket være initiativer utviklet og realisert for å presentere seg fra sin beste side i de to mållandene.

Optimale resultater i Sveits med 161 promoteringsdager realisert i to omganger: den første høsten 2020, som involverte Engrosmarkt og Viadukt i Zürich samt Markthalle i Basel. Den andre ett år senere, som var mer prestisjefylt ettersom at Engrosmarkt nok en gang var tilstede, og fremfor alt takket være medvirkning fra hele åtte utsalgssteder i den sveitsiske luksuskjeden Globus.

Parallelt med denne siste promoteringsaktiviteten, ble det arrangert formative samlinger i Forbundet, myntet på aktører i bransjen. Importører, aktører i HoReCa-bransjen og kollektiv catering, netthandel, plattformer og GDOs cateringorganisasjoner, cash & carry, markeder og små utsalgssteder fikk muligheten til å oppdage den europeiske frukt-og-grønt-bransjens fortreffelighet gjennom personlige fortellinger fra høyt utdannet personale.

I Norge deltok vi derimot i 84 dager med promotering i utsalgsstedene til kjeden Smak AV Italia, og i Mathallen i Oslo i de varme månedene juli og august.

De aller første formative aktivitetene ble gjort digitalt, etterfulgt av fysiske møter i de påfølgende månedene. På disse møtene deltok kvalifiserte aktører som innkjøpere og kategoriledere i Bama-Gruppen AS, den største distributøren av frukt og grønt i Norge, og Sana Bona AS, en norsk distributør spesialisert på økologiske varer, som blant annet kan skilte med kunder som Coop Norge.

Men det er ikke alt – når 2022 kommer, starter også de aktivitetene som er planlagt for år nummer to. Disse inkluderer flere promoteringsdager som har til formål å informere sluttbrukere, på samme måte som andre formative og lærerike aktiviteter har vært rettet mot bransjeaktører i begge land.
