Awarded new logistics contract in Gothenburg

The clients are Bockasjö and Platzer through their joint venture company AB Bockasjö Platzer Sörred 8:12. Kanonaden will blast 1.2 million cubic metres of rock, fill and level the site prior to the laying of foundations.

Sörred Logistics Park will comprise four logistics buildings to be built in the best logistics location in Sweden in close proximity to the Port of Gothenburg, the largest facility of its kind in Scandinavia. There will be a total lettable area of 87,500 m² and all premises will be adapted to the wishes of each respective tenant. Zoning regulations permit high-rise warehouse storage. Each property will be equipped with solar cells and will be eco-certified in accordance with the BREEAM In-use assessment method.

Kanonaden Entreprenad and Bockasjö have worked together in Gothenburg previously during the construction of the Hisingen Logistics Park. Kanonaden is currently involved in the construction of a total of seven logistics facilities in the Stockholm-Mälaren Region and in Western Sweden.
