ICMA Announces Leading Performers on CMA (Certified Management Accountant) Exam; Other recent IMA Announcements

ICMA^® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants), the certification division of IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants), announced the most recent group of leading performers on its CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) examination.

IMA Europe is especially proud that two of its members were awarded ICMA medals for their exceptional performances. Of the 5,726 individuals who took the CMA exam in English, Nicolas P. Lehmann from Bottmingen, Switzerland achieved the highest exam score and was awarded an ICMA Gold Medal. The ICMA Bronze Medal for the third highest exam score went to David Unterdorfer, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Both European exam winners attended CMA exam preparation courses offered at their respective universities: Nicolas P. Lehmann attended the CMA course at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. IMA Announces Record Numbers

IMA announced record growing numbers in their 2014 Annual report, which details the fiscal year from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. With now more than 72,900 members globally and a 23-percent rise in international members, IMA achieved its highest membership in 15 years. The report also shows that the number of CMA candidates rose by 19 percent from the previous year, totaling worldwide 22,277 candidates.
