20th Annual BIO-Europe® 2014 Partnering Meetings Outnumber All Previous Years
The 20th anniversary edition of BIO-Europe® international partnering conference wrapped up last week, November 3–5, in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Portalhaus Messe Frankfurt conference center.

The conference attracted over 3,200 leading dealmakers from 54 countries comprising 1,786 companies made up of biotech, large and midsize pharma, and finance along with emerging companies. There were approximately 18,000 one-to-one partnering meetings and 4,065 licensing opportunities on offer, an all-time record. In addition, there were 162 company presentations and 98 exhibitors at the event.
BIO-Europe is a unique industry event, where delegates from all parts of the biotechnology value chain come to quickly identify, engage and enter into strategic relationships that drive their businesses successfully forward. Investment and collaboration opportunities developed in prior BIO-Europe conferences have produced many highly successful and historic business partnerships that resulted in life-saving drugs for patients.
