Rehabilitating student housing in Bergen

LAB Entreprenør, a company within AF Gruppen, has signed an agreement with Sammen, the Student Welfare Organization of Vestland, to rehabilitate a residential building in Hatleberg, Bergen. The agreement is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 146 million excluding VAT.
The rehabilitation includes an eight-story residential building (the AB block) of approximately 5,500 square meters, including a ventilation room on the roof.
“We are very grateful to have been chosen to rehabilitate more student housing in Bergen for Sammen. This opportunity allows us to further strengthen our expertise in the preservation and revitalization of buildings within our city. Restoration rather than demolition and new construction is the biggest contribution we can make to reducing emissions in our industry,” says Gard Kvalheim, CEO of LAB Entreprenør.
The on-site work will begin in the third quarter of 2025, with planned completion in the third quarter of 2026.
