Building retirement home in Eskilstuna

HMB, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been commissioned to build care homes in Eskilstuna on behalf of Eskilstuna Kommunfastigheter AB. The project is being carried out as a turnkey contract and has a contract value of SEK 138 million excluding VAT.
The care homes, named Gillet 1, will consist of a four-story residential building with 72 studio apartments. The building also includes communal kitchens and living rooms, staff rooms, and a garage. Additionally, the common areas will feature a gym, spa, large kitchen, and restaurant. A pleasant inner courtyard with walkways, seating areas, and a barbecue area will create an attractive living environment for the elderly.

Construction is scheduled to start in March/April 2025, and the project is expected to be completed in November 2026.
