Onshore Disposal Services Contract for AF Gruppen

AF Gruppen (AFG) has today received a LOI for a contract from Allseas (EXCALIBUR MARINE CONTRACTORS S.A) for disposal services of a Topside of 12,000 metric tonnes. The LOI includes an option for a second topside. Including the option the total weight is between 25.000 and 30.000 metric tonnes.
The disposal yard preparations and engineering will commence this autumn and the structure(s) will be received within the next few years.
"We are very pleased to have been awarded this first contract by Allseas. We look forward to starting this important work. In this project, we will survey, engineer, dismantle and recycle a Topside transported to the yard by Allseas in a single lift. This project represents an important next step within our core competencies, and the award is a recognition of our significant track record in delivering safe and efficient onshore dismantling and recycling solutions," says Lars Myhre Hjelmeset, EVP Offshore at AF Gruppen.

The client is Drammen Helsepark AS, which has established the project company DHP Bygg BK4‑2 AS as the contracting entity. The contract is valued at NOK 731 million excluding VAT and will be delivered as a turnkey contract. Drammen Helsepark AS is wholly owned by Bane NOR Eiendom AS.
