Passenger numbers increased internationally but declined domestically in June
4.8 million travelers used Avinor's airports in June. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to June last year. It is international traffic that is increasing, with a substantial 9 percent. Domestic traffic, on the other hand, declined by 3 percent compared to June last year.

Passenger numbers and flight movements 2,643,547 passengers traveled domestically in June, which is 3 percent lower than in June last year.
The number of passengers traveling internationally was 2,178,745, which is 9 percent higher than the previous year's June.
There were 64,774 flight movements in June. This is a reduction of 6 percent compared to June last year.

Drone flights increase when the weather gets warmer
In June, 2,727 drone flights were reported in Ninox Drone - Avinor's drone management system. "This is a significant increase from 2023 when we had 1,889 flights," says Mats Gjertsen, head of Avinor's drone program. "With summer and good weather, the number of drone flights increases. We still expect further growth ahead.
