Kjetil about the single:

"The word 'alone' is often negatively charged, but 'alone' for me in this context is more of a powerful word - a state of mind where one enters a dream with an invincible thought that anything is possible. Daydreaming could perhaps be a synonym. Anyway, it's a good feeling of walking alone with one's own thoughts in almost a heroic presence where everything is possible, no one can stop you, and all paths are open.

I have enlisted some incredible musicians for this song. Arve Henriksen has been one of my favorite musicians for a large part of my adult life, and the times we have met and worked together have been incredibly inspiring and eye-opening. Selma French and Martin Myhre Olsen are two good friends I have known and worked with a lot, including Martin as part of the long-active quartet, Wako. In the same band, we also find Bárður Reinert Poulsen, who really propels this song forward with his bass playing. Lars Horntveth, known from Jaga Jazzist and numerous other projects, has added his magical "touch" both in the studio with pedal steel and in post-production with ideas and finesse. Finally, my longtime companion in my own trio, Andreas Winther, plays drums and completes the last part of the band on this track." - Kjetil Mulelid
