Highlights of the report include:
- ISO 14001 recertification of STEMCELL’s Environmental Management System
- Successful diversion of 39% of waste from landfills – a 14% increase from the previous year
- More than 4,000 participants in numerous educational outreach initiatives working to increase diversity in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
This past year, STEMCELL also joined the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. This includes a commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and upholding the Ten Principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
