Codeshare boost to Finnair’s new Helsinki-Bergen link
17.5.2018 08:00:00 CEST | The Avinor Group | Aktuelt

With services beginning on 15 May and 19 May respectively, Finnair has now added the Avinor airports of Bergen (daily flights) and Tromsø (weekly) to its network. While both Norwegian airports will benefit from improved links with Finnair, a Widerøe codeshare agreement will significantly improve the connection possibilities at each end of the route.
“The new collaboration between the airlines means that passengers arriving from Finland, or indeed from further afield, have the possibility of benefitting from Widerøe’s network in Bergen and Tromsø,” says Jasper Spruit, VP Traffic Development, Avinor.
Easy access to Norway’s dramatic landscapes such as the fjords, the mountains and the midnight sun will be the main attractions for Finnair’s passengers from Finland, as well as from Asia via the airline’s Helsinki hub.
“There are many admired attractions which are rising in popularity among foreign tourists,” adds Spruit.
