Sprint Selects Mavenir for NFV Cloud Deployment
Mavenir, the leader in accelerating and redefining software network transformation for Communications Service Providers, today announced that Sprint (NYSE:S) is deploying Mavenir solutions in their nationwide Network Function Virtualization OpenStack cloud deployment.

Sprint is collaborating with Mavenir for the Telephony Application Server (TAS), Media Resource Function (MRF), and policy Diameter Routing Agent (pDRA).
Virtualizing the EPC and IMS onto a single NFVI will enable Sprint to scale the mobile core up or down dynamically to support new 5G services, depending upon demand.
