New Miniature Panomorph Lens for VR and 360° Cameras in Mass Production
ImmerVision, the inventor of the 360-degree panomorph lens and worldwide expert in immersive optical and imaging technology announces the mass production of a new 360° panomorph lens by Kolen, a global lens supplier, optimized for VR and 360° camera products.
Designed by ImmerVision, this new 5mm, 187° FoV panomorph lens is to be integrated onto mobile consumer products and combined with 1/4 inch, 8 Mpx sensors. When combined with sensors from Sony, Samsung or OmniVision, this miniature powerhouse preserves the original image pixel density and allows for full quality across the image rendered.
Moreover, its 187° field of view is optimal for back to back cameras with ImmerVision Enables 2.0 image processing technology allowing for perfect stitching with no ghosting.
