Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP today announced that John C. Dougherty, formerly a partner and co-chair of DLA Piper’s Global Life Sciences Sector, has joined FLH as Partner, Co-Chair of its Life Sciences Practice, and member of its Executive Committee.
Dougherty is a trial lawyer and advisor with nearly 25 years of experience handling complex multidisciplinary tort, commercial, shareholder and intellectual property disputes and investigations throughout the United States and abroad. Dougherty also counsels clients on crisis management and litigation avoidance, typically in matters involving scientific, medical and regulatory issues. Dougherty helped DLA Piper grow its Life Sciences Sector into a cross-functional team operating in 29 countries and has a recognized track record of building innovative and efficient client service teams.
