Måsøval AS to divest processing facility in Vartdal
Måsøval Group did a strategic review of the group’s total harvesting capacities and concluded late in 2023 to search for new owners of the harvesting company in Vartdal . It is a pleasure to announce a sales agreement has been agreed with the leading Norwegian cod farmer ODE AS. ODE is a fully integrated codfarmer and is planning to develop the company further and creating employment and activity in the region. The transaction will be concluded during February, where Western Seaproducts AS will become a fully owned subsidiary in the ODE group and ODE will continue operating the facility as a primary processing facility for cod while planning to develop secondary processing capacity for cod and byproducts.
