Yara leverer økt kapitalavkastning og foreslår tilleggsutbytte

Oslo, 20. oktober 2020: Yara leverer økt tredjekvartalsresultat, med rekordhøye NPK-leveranser, økt kapitalavkastning og økt kontantstrøm. Nettoresultatet var USD 340 millioner (USD 1,27 per aksje) mot USD 74 millioner (USD 0,27 per aksje) et år tidligere.


Hovedelementene i resultatet for tredje kvartal er:

  • NOK 18 per aksje i tilleggsutbytte foreslås; totalt 53 kroner kontantavkastning1 per aksje betalt eller forpliktet til aksjonærer i 2020
  • 7,9 % ROIC2, opp fra 6,1 % ett år tidligere
  • EBITDA3 ned 11 %, hovedsakelig grunnet lavere nitrogenpriser
  • Rekordhøye NPK-leveranser
  • USD 2,5 milliarder fri kontantstrøm4 siste 4 kvartal

Vi vil foreslå et tilleggsutbytte på NOK18 per aksje for utbetaling i fjerde kvartal, som bringer kontantavkastning betalt eller kommitert til aksjonærene i 2020 til totalt 53 kroner per aksje», sier Holsether.

Driftsresultatet i tredje kvartal var USD 384 millioner, opp fra USD 314 millioner et år tidligere. Nettoresultatet per aksje justert for valutaeffekter og spesielle poster var USD 0,88 per aksje sammenlignet med USD 0,94 per aksje i tredje kvartal 2019. EBITDA eksklusive spesielle poster var USD 558 millioner, ned fra USD 630 millioner ett år tidligere.

Yaras markedsutsikter er i en positiv trend, med en stabil global kornbalanse og begrenset press på tilbudssiden av urea. Etterspørselen etter gjødsel og matvarer er motstandsdyktig også i krisetider, og sikring av matvareproduksjon og relaterte forsyningskjeder har høy prioritet i alle land. Yaras finansielle stilling er robust, med sterk kontantstrøm fra drift og redusert investeringsnivå grunnet streng kapitaldisiplin.
