Yara leverer økt avkastning og foreslår tilleggsutbytte

Oslo, 16. juli 2021: Yara rapporterer økte resultater i andre kvartal, med økte priser som mer enn utlignet høyere energikostnader. Nettoresultatet for andre kvartal var USD 539 millioner (USD 2,10 per aksje) sammenlignet med USD 223 millioner (USD 0,83 per aksje) ett år tidligere.

Hovedelementene i resultatet for andre kvartal er:

  • EBITDA eksklusive spesielle poster1 USD 775 millioner, opp fra USD 588 millioner ett år tidligere, med økte priser og bedring i premiene
  • USD 3 milliarder i fri kontantstrøm2 over de siste fire kvartalene
  • 9.8 % ROIC3, opp fra 7.3% ett år tidligere
  • 20 kroner per aksje tilleggsutbytte foreslått

«Yara leverer sitt tolvte kvartal på rad med økt kapitalavkastning, med EBITDA eksklusive spesielle poster opp 32 %, noe som reflekterer økte priser og bedring i premiene», sier Svein Tore Holsether, konsernsjef i Yara.

Driftsresultatet for andre kvartal var USD 477 millioner, sammenlignet med USD 335 millioner ett år tidligere. Nettoresultatet eksklusive valutaeffekter og spesielle poster var USD 1,42 per aksje, sammenlignet med USD 1,06 for andre kvartal 2020.

Yaras fundamentale markedsforhold er robuste, ettersom utfordringene knyttet til ressurseffektivitet og miljøavtrykk krever betydelige omstillinger innen landbruk og hydrogenøkonomien.
