Valberedningens förslag till styrelse och ny styrelseordförande

Kinnevik AB (publ) (”Kinnevik”) meddelande idag att valberedningen föreslår val av  James Anderson till ny styrelseordförande och val av Harald Mix till ny styrelseledamot vid årsstämman i april 2021. Vidare förslår valberedningen återval av Susanna Campbell, Brian McBride, Charlotte Strömberg och Cecilia Qvist till styrelseledamöter. Dame Amelia Fawcett, Henrik Poulsen och Wilhelm Klingspor ställer inte upp till omval. Valberedningen förslår vidare en ny instruktion som innebär att den nya valberedningen förslås att väljas vid årsstämman 2021.

Valberedningens förslag till ny instruktion innebär att den nya valberedningen förslås att väljas vid årsstämman 2021. Förslaget till ny valberedning innebär att  valberedningen kommer att bestå av representanter för Alces Maximus, AMF, Baillie Gifford, och Marie Klingspor. Styrelsens ordförande kommer att vara ledamot av valberedningen. De i valberedningen ingående personerna kommer att anges i kallelsen till årsstämman. Alecta, Verdere and CMS Trust kommer inte att vara representerade i valberedningen.

Valberedningens fullständiga förslag presenteras i kallelsen till Kinneviks årsstämma som hålls den 29 april 2021. Valberedningen består av Anders Oscarsson, utsedd av AMF, Cristina Stenbeck utsedd av Verdere  S.à r.l. och CMS Sapere Aude Trust, Hugo Stenbeck utsedd av Alces Maximus LLC, James Anderson utsedd av Baillie Gifford, Ramsay Brufer utsedd av Alecta, och Marie Klingspor.

James Anderson föddes 1959. Efter avslutade studier vid Oxford, Carleton and Johns Hopkins började James Anderson vid Baillie Gifford där han blev partner 1987.  James ledde det europeiska aktieteamet och var medgrundare till deras långsiktiga tillväxtstrategi 2003. James Anderson har varit ledamot av Kinneviks valberedning sedan 2014 och är för närvarande styrelseledamot i Johns Hopkins University, senior rådgivare till styrelsen i Antler Group och manager vid Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust respektive Vanguard International Growth Fund. James Anderson kommer att lämna sin anställning vid Baillie Gifford med pension under första halvåret 2022.

Harald Mix föddes 1960. Harald Mix tog examen vid Brown University, Rhode Island, 1983 och Harvard Business School 1987. Han arbetade inom management konsultverksamhet och private equity vid Booz Allen & Hamilton och First Boston i New York innan han 1990 återvände till Europa. Harald Mix startade sin karriär inom private equity 1990 och var en av grundarna till det svenska riskkapitalbolaget Industrikapital där han var verksam till slutet av 2001.  Harald Mix var 1993 en av grundarna till Altor Equity Partners där han för närvarande är CEO. Harald Mix är därutöver styrelseledamot bl a i Nordic Leisure Travel Group, Carneo AB och Carnegie Investment Bank.
