Sydbank A/S opjusterer forventningerne til resultatet for 2023.

Forventer nu et resultat efter skat i intervallet 2.300-2.600 mio. kr.

Forventningerne opjusteres til et resultat efter skat i intervallet 2.300-2.600 mio. kr. I selskabsmeddelelse nr. 01 fra den 23. januar 2023 meddelte vi, at vi forventede et resultat efter skat i intervallet 1.900-2.200 mio. kr. for 2023.

Udviklingen i de 2 første måneder af 2023 har været kendetegnet ved:

  • en betydelig stigning i basisindtjeningen som følge af fortsat stigende renter
  • en meget tilfredsstillende handelsindtjening
  • en fortsat stram omkostningsstyring
  • et positivt beholdningsresultat

Nedskrivningerne på udlån mv. forventes at udgøre en mindre udgift i 2023.

Forventningerne til 2023 er forbundet med usikkerhed og afhænger af udviklingen på de finansielle markeder samt de makroøkonomiske forhold.

I lyset af de seneste dages uro på de finansielle markeder kan det oplyses, at banken ikke har anvendt ”hold til udløb”-princippet på sine værdipapirbeholdninger.

Sydbanks delårsrapport for 1. kvartal 2023 offentliggøres som planlagt den 3. maj 2023.
