Summa Equity investerer i Logpoint for at skabe et europæisk kraftcenter for cybersikkerhed

Summa Equity køber en majoritetsandel af cybersikkerheds-virksomheden Logpoint. Investeringen kommer fra Summas Fund III, som indeholder 2,3 mia. euro, og skal være med til at sikre Europa strategisk uafhængighed på cybersikkerheds-området og beskytte den globale digitale transformation.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden and COPENHAGEN, Denmark, March 02, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Summa Equity (“Summa”, www.summaequity.com) offentliggør idag købet af en majoritetsandel i den danske softwarevirksomhed Logpoint (www.logpoint.com), som laver en avanceret cybersikkerheds-platform, der beskytter virksomheder over hele verden imod den stadigt stigende cybertrussel. Købet sker på baggrund af Summas strategi om at foretage investeringer, der understøtter FN’s verdensmål for bæredygtig udvikling, og skabe langsigtet og bæredygtig værdi for sine investorer.

Gennem investeringen i Logpoint adresserer Summa den globale udfordring med et stadigt stigende antal cyberangreb, som ifølge Cybersecurity Ventures koster verdensøkonomien omkring 7.600 mia. euro i 2023. Investeringen adresserer FN’s verdensmål nr. 9 ved at understøtte pålidelig, bæredygtig og robust infrastruktur af høj kvalitet samt verdensmål nr. 16 ved at understøtte effektive, ansvarlige og gennemsigtige institutioner samt offentlig adgang til information.
