Karsten Moholt etablerer seg i Stavanger – og rigger Moholt Group for vekst!

Agile Rig & Modules AS fusjonerte med morselskapet Karsten Moholt AS medio september. Bakgrunnen for fusjonen er å effektivisere selskapsstrukturen og den operative driften i konsernet i tillegg til ønske om en felles front ut i markedet, sier CEO i Moholt Group Arne Hammer.

Agile Rig & Modules AS opphører som juridisk enhet som følge av fusjonen, mens virksomhetens satsing og sysselsetting i Stavanger videreføres i Karsten Moholt AS, avdeling Stavanger.

Det overtagende selskap er Bergenbaserte Karsten Moholt AS, som nå etableres i Stavanger og vil få en betydelig kundeportefølje ved å se til nye markedsområder i tillegg til å styrke eksisterende leveranser.

Karsten Moholt AS har et hypermoderne verksted på Askøy ved Bergen med fokus på levetidsforlengelse av roterende utstyr gjennom smart vedlikehold og reparasjoner, og har oppnådd Skandinavias høyeste sertifisering innen EX.

I Stavanger planlegges nå byggingen av et supplerende verksted hvor en vil dra synergier fra kompetansen Karsten Moholt allerede besitter.

Karsten Moholt AS er en del av Moreld Moholt Group som består av Karsten Moholt, Aquamarine, Teknisk Bureau og Teknor. Gruppen representerer Morelds divisjon for levetidsforlengelse (the Life-cycle division). Selskapene i Moreld er integrert i en konsernmodell for å styrke Morelds posisjon som kundenes foretrukne partner i det grønne skiftet.

Hans Jakob Hegge will replace Endre Folge who has decided to pursue challenges outside Moreld. Hans Jakob has spent the last 25 years working with Equinor (formerly Statoil) both in Norway and internationally in senior positions, most recently as Country manager US.
