Lanifibranor est actuellement en cours d’évaluation dans le cadre d’une étude clinique pivot de Phase III.
Odiparcil est le second candidat médicament au stade clinique que Inventiva développe pour le traitement de patients souffrant d'un sous-type de MPS, un groupe de maladies génétiques rares. A la fin de l’année 2019, Inventiva a publié des résultats positifs de son étude clinique de Phase IIa évaluant odiparcil pour le traitement des patients adultes atteints de la MPS VI et a obtenu le statut de « Fast Track » dans la MPS VI pour odiparcil en octobre 2020.
En parallèle, Inventiva est en cours de sélection d’un candidat médicament en oncologie pour son programme dans la voie de signalisation Hippo. Par ailleurs, la Société a conclu un partenariat stratégique avec AbbVie dans le domaine des maladies auto-immunes. AbbVie a démarré le développement clinique d’ABBV-157, un candidat médicament pour le traitement de la forme modérée à sévère du psoriasis, issu de sa collaboration avec Inventiva. Ce partenariat permet le versement à Inventiva de paiements d'étapes en fonction de l’atteinte d’objectifs précliniques, cliniques, réglementaires et commerciaux ainsi que des redevances sur les ventes des produits développés dans le cadre de ce partenariat.
La Société dispose d’une équipe scientifique d'environ 70 personnes dotée d’une forte expertise en biologie, chimie médicinale et computationnelle, pharmacocinétique et pharmacologie ainsi qu’en développement clinique. Par ailleurs, Inventiva dispose d'une chimiothèque d’environ 240.000 molécules, dont environ 60% sont la propriété de la Société, ainsi que de ses propres laboratoires et équipements.
