Godt resultat for 2022 og forventning om yderligere fremgang i 2023

På baggrund af de foreløbige og ureviderede resultatopgørelser fra koncernens virksomheder vurderes det nu, at Schouw & Co. koncernens omsætning i 2022 vil udgøre ca. 32,6 mia. kr. mod senest forventet 30,1-32,0 mia. kr., mens koncernens resultat vurderes at udgøre et EBITDA i størrelsesordenen 2.280 mio. kr. mod et senest forventet interval på 2.090-2.260 mio. kr.

Det er især virksomhederne BioMar og GPV, som i 4. kvartal 2022 har realiseret omsætning og resultat over det forventede. Af koncernens øvrige virksomheder har HydraSpecma, Borg Automotive og Fibertex Personal Care realiseret resultat i den øvre halvdel af de senest udmeldte forventningsinter­valler, mens Fibertex Nonwovens har realiseret resultat i den nederste del af det forventede interval.

BioMars køb af rejefoderproducenten Viet-Uc og Borg Automotives køb af handelsvirksomheden SBS Automotive i 2021 var begge baseret på earn out-modeller, som skal genberegnes i forbindelse med årsafslutningen. De foreløbige opgørelser indikerer, at genberegningerne samlet kan øge koncernens netto finansierings­omkostninger i 2022.

Schouw & Co. forventer i 2023 at fastholde et højt aktivitetsniveau, på trods af de fortsat betydelige markedsmæssige usikkerheder. Hertil kommer helårseffekten af den EMS-virksomhed, som blev tilkøbt til sammenlægning med GPV i oktober 2022, ligesom der i årets forventning indregnes bidrag fra HydraSpecmas overtagelse af vinddivisionen i Ymer Technology med virkning fra 1. februar 2023.   

På den baggrund forventer Schouw & Co. koncernen i 2023 at realisere en omsætning i størrelses­ordenen 36-38 mia. kr. med et EBITDA i intervallet 2.350-2.650 mio. kr. Koncernens omsætning kan dog som altid blive påvirket ganske meget af ændrede råvarepriser og valutakurser uden nødvendigvis nogen større resultateffekt.

I årsrapporten for 2021 offentliggjorde Schouw & Co. en langsigtet ambition om at nå en omsætning – inklusive opkøb – på over 35 mia. kr. med et EBITDA på over 3 mia. kr. ved udgangen af 2025. De aktuelt gennemførte opkøb har bidraget væsentligt til opfyldelsen af denne ambition, og samtidigt har den betydelige inflation på materialepriser foranlediget en væsentlig omsætningsstigning, så den naturlige omsætningsambition nu vil være i niveauet 40 mia. kr., mens resultatambitionen fortsat vil være et EBITDA på over 3 mia. kr. ved udgangen af 2025.
