FREE NOW is the first mobility platform to offer free vaccination rides for users across Europe
Hamburg, February 08 2021 - FREE NOW is the first mobility platform in Europe to provide free taxi rides to passengers in 8 countries who want to get vaccinated against Covid-19. Europe’s leading multi-service mobility platform is allocating 1 Million Euro committed to support the vaccination infrastructure in the countries and providing added value for all users. From now on, passengers who travel to an official vaccination appointment within their city, can contact the FREE NOW customer service to get a reimbursement.
“We know that the last year was full of continued restrictions. With the rollout of our medical services across Europe, we want to help citizens to get to the vaccination centres and we are keen to make that journey as smooth, stress-free and affordable as we can. We want to be a real help to people who may need it,” said Sebastien Oebel, COO of FREE NOW.
The offer is open to all people who get vaccinated against Covid-19 and book a taxi through the FREE NOW app, bookings can also be made by family members or friends. “The last year has been very challenging for taxi drivers, we are happy that we can use this initiative to help them get more tours and secure their income,” Sebastien Oebel added. All drivers will get the usual fair for tours to vaccination centres, the discount is fully paid by FREE NOW.
