11.2.2020 09:23:58 CET | The Avinor Group | Pressemelding

- We will be going up to daily departures from Oslo for the first time by adding a departure on Thursdays as from the summer of 2020. The extra departure will give Norwegian passengers daily access to Africa’s biggest airline, says Mussie Fitehamlak, Country Manager for Ethiopian Airlines in Norway. We’ve scheduled the Oslo route to fit in well with our connections to the rest of Africa in terms of arrivals and departures from Addis Ababa, he states.
- This is a profitable route that has become very popular among Norwegian passengers, says the Director for Traffic Development at Avinor, Jasper Spruit.
Addis Ababa is a major international hub in Africa, with excellent connections to other destinations.
The route will fly daily with departure from Oslo at 18:45, arriving in Addis Ababa at 05:30 the following morning. The flight to Oslo departs late from Addis Abeba, at 23:40, arriving at 08:45 the following morning. The route will be flown by the company’s Dreamliner, with seats for 24 business class and 246 economy class passengers.
