Falkor today announces the appointment of Pedro Alcântara as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 November 2026. He succeeds Shane McArdle and takes on the role from his current position as EVP & Chief Revenue Officer. Alcântara has held several executive positions at Falkor and brings extensive knowledge of the company, its customers and its markets.

“Shane McArdle has played an important role in Falkor’s development, and I would like to thank him for his contributions and commitment to the company. As Falkor enters its next phase of growth, the Board has appointed Pedro Alcântara to lead the company forward. Appointing an executive from within the organization reflects the strength and depth of our leadership team. Alcântara combines a deep understanding of Falkor with strong commercial experience, providing both continuity and the leadership needed to pursue our ambitions,” said Anders Rønningen, Chair of the Board.
Falkor will continue to build on its position, with international expansion as a key strategic priority, strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers worldwide.
“I am proud to take on the responsibility of leading Falkor, and work together with our highly talented teams, whose expertise and commitment are at the heart of our success. Our ambition is to further strengthen our market-leading position in the heavy asset industries by integrating industrial AI, workflow automation and enterprise data. A key priority will be to boost our global execution capabilities and scalability, and to continue developing best-in-class solutions that transform how the industry operates,” said Pedro Alcântara.
As a KONGSBERG company, Falkor benefits from the industrial expertise, capabilities and resources of a leading global technology group. This provides a strong foundation for the company’s continued development and its ambition to create long-term value for customers and partners.
“Falkor has strong support as it pursues its ambitions. At the same time, our greatest strength is our people. We have a highly capable organization, strong technology and a clear direction. I am confident that Pedro Alcântara and the team will build on these strengths and lead Falkor successfully into its next chapter,” said Anders Rønningen.
