KONGSBERG signs contract with Oshkosh Defense Europe to deliver counter-drone capabilities to the Netherlands

The systems will be integrated on Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) and delivered to the Royal Netherlands Armed Forces.

The delivery will significantly strengthen the Netherlands' ability to detect, track, and defeat threats posed by unmanned aerial systems. PROTECTOR CUAS is a highly advanced, scalable solution developed to address the rapidly growing need for effective counter-drone capabilities on today's evolving battlefield.

The PROTECTOR RS4 is a combat-proven, modular remote weapon station currently in service with 31 nations and allied forces worldwide. When integrated with the KONGSBERG PROTECTOR CUAS solution, the system enables operators to effectively engage both individual drones and more complex threat scenarios.

The agreement further reinforces the longstanding partnership between KONGSBERG and Oshkosh Defense, and The Netherlands, while contributing to NATO's collective ability to address emerging and rapidly evolving security challenges.
