Scanmudring named Supplier of the Year at NORWEP Awards

Vegard Sørebø, Deputy Secretary General, Norwegian Ministry of Energy, and Jo Kjetil Krabbe, Chair of the NORWEP Award Jury, presented the award during the Opening Session of ONS International Markets in Stavanger.

Founded in 1985, Scanmudring designs, builds and operates subsea machinery for excavation and dredging. The company is headquartered in Mandal and works across the energy, renewables, infrastructure and aquaculture sectors, both in Norway and internationally.

Frank Ludvigsen, the company's Business Development Director, accepted the award on Scanmudring's behalf.

"We are very proud to be recognised by NORWEP with the Supplier of the Year Award," said Ludvigsen.  "We design, manufacture and operate our equipment ourselves, which means our engineers and operators learn from the same experience, and that is how our technology keeps improving. We take this recognition as encouragement to keep pushing the limits of what can be done subsea, across the energy, renewables, infrastructure and aquaculture industries."

Scanmudring was selected from a strong field of finalists, including 4Subsea, Autronica Fire & Security, Øglænd System and Nord Gas Solutions.

"We congratulate Scanmudring on this well-deserved recognition," said Krabbe. "The company has turned deep operational experience into genuine technological leadership, while continuing to develop sustainable solutions for demanding environments."

The Export Excellence Award was presented to DNH, a family-owned company based in Kragerø, in recognition of its international growth and long-term success in global markets. The award was received on behalf of DNH by Frithjof Røegh Edwardsen, who represents the third generation running the family business.
