LERØY SEAFOOD GROUP ASA: STERK BIOLOGISK UTVIKLING, BEDRET KONTANTSTRØM OG ØKTE FORVENTNINGER I VILLFANGST
"Operasjonelt driftsresultat i andre kvartal 2026 ble NOK 574 millioner, mot NOK 680 millioner i samme kvartal i fjor. Nedgangen skyldes lavere slaktevolum og svakere marginer i Market Operations (tidligere VAP, Salg og Distribusjon), enn i et historisk sterkt 2025. Samtidig ser vi god biologisk utvikling og et fallende kostnadsnivå i Havbruk, vi leverer en sterk kontantstrøm, og vi øker forventningen til Villfangst for året" sier konsernsjef Henning Beltestad
HAVBRUK: LAVERE KOSTNADER
Operasjonelt driftsresultat i Havbruk ble NOK 236 millioner i andre kvartal 2026, mot NOK 256 millioner i samme periode i fjor. Slaktevolumet av laks og ørret var 44 747 GWT, åtte prosent lavere enn året før.
"Vi har svært høy overlevelse og sterk biologi. Kostnadsnivået i havbruk er vesentlig redusert fra første kvartal 2026. Inn i 2027 vil fôrkostnaden øke, men effekten av kostnadsoptimaliseringsprogrammet vil vesentlig redusere påvirkningen av dette." sier Beltestad.
Samlet volumguiding i Norge opprettholdes på 195 000GWT, men er økt i Lerøy Aurora og redusert i Lerøy Sjøtroll. Dette reflekterer sterk utvikling i nord, men lavere vekst i Lerøy Sjøtroll som følge av svært lave sjøtemperaturer.
MARKET OPERATIONS: MARGINFORBEDRING
Market Operations leverte et operasjonelt driftsresultat på NOK 269 millioner i andre kvartal 2026, mot NOK 351 millioner i samme periode i fjor. EBIT-marginen ble 3,5 prosent, opp fra 2,4 prosent i første kvartal 2026.
«Inntjeningen i første halvår i 2026 er lavere enn tilsvarende periode i fjor, drevet av mindre gunstige kontraktsposisjoner, lavere volum og en styrket norsk krone. For andre halvår forventer vi, per i dag, vesentlig forbedring i inntjeningen dette segmentet.».
VILLFANGST: HØYERE FORVENTNINGER TIL 2026
Operasjonelt driftsresultat i Villfangst ble NOK 140 millioner i andre kvartal 2026, mot NOK 148 millioner i samme periode i fjor. Fangstvolumet økte seks prosent til 18 779 tonn. For første halvår økte operasjonelt driftsresultat med 24 prosent til NOK 368 millioner.
"Prisoppnåelsen for våre viktigste arter er fortsatt sterk, og vi ser tydelige resultater av forbedringsarbeidet i landindustrien. På bakgrunn av utviklingen gjennom første halvår løfter vi forventningen til operasjonelt driftsresultat i Villfangst i 2026 til NOK 400-450 millioner, opp fra NOK 350-400 millioner," sier Beltestad.
STERK KONTANTSTRØM OG FREMDRIFT I KOSTNADSPROGRAMMET
Operasjonell kontantstrøm ble NOK 1 353 millioner i kvartalet, opp fra NOK 1 030 millioner i samme periode i fjor. Fri kontantstrøm hittil i 2026 er NOK 1,7 milliarder, mot NOK 1,3 milliarder i samme periode i 2025.
Ved utgangen av andre kvartal er NOK 402 millioner av konsernets kostnadsprogram på NOK 1 milliard realisert, mens ytterligere NOK 521 millioner er identifisert og under gjennomføring.
UTSIKTER
Lerøy opprettholder guidet slaktevolum i Norge på 195 000 GWT i 2026. Inkludert konsernets andel av Scottish Sea Farms forventes samlet slaktevolum på om lag 217 000 GWT.
Etter flere kvartaler med sterk tilbudsvekst forventes veksten i globalt tilbud av laks og ørret å avta betydelig gjennom andre halvår 2026. Samtidig fortsetter etterspørselen å vokse i de fleste viktige markeder. Konsernet forventer derfor at markedet gradvis vil stramme seg til.
