Orkla Snacks acquires The European Candy Group B.V to support continued BUBS growth

CCI has supplied selected BUBS products to Orkla Snacks since 2025. The company operates four production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and brings extensive expertise in vegan sugar confectionery production, with strong capabilities in R&D and innovation.

Orkla Snacks plans to maintain CCI’s existing, profitable business, while gradually increasing production of BUBS to serve export markets with high demand. 

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and, as required under Dutch law, the advice of the works council. Closing is expected towards the end of the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter of 2026.
