Niels Holm Mikkelsen er med virkning fra 3. marts 2026 udnævnt til CEO i MT Højgaard Holdings forretningsenhed MT Højgaard Danmark. Her tager Niels Holm Mikkelsen over efter Carsten Lund, der har været CEO i godt 5 år.
Under Carsten Lunds ledelse har MT Højgaard Danmark gennemgået en vellykket transformation og mere end fordoblet omsætningen, mens driftsresultatet er flerdoblet. Niels Holm Mikkelsen har bidraget væsentligt til denne udvikling, først som ansvarlig for den markante opbygning af virksomhedens aktiviteter inden for anlæg og infrastruktur og siden 2023 som COO med ansvar for MT Højgaard Danmarks samlede aktiviteter inden for byggeri og anlæg.
Niels Holm Mikkelsen kom til MT Højgaard Danmark for godt 5 år siden og har samlet over 25 års erfaring som entreprenør, hvor han har stået i spidsen for bygge- og anlægsprojekter samt arbejdet på projekter i udlandet for Pihl & Søn og Aarsleff. Derudover har han ledelseserfaring fra Aarsleff samt bygherre- og rådgivererfaring fra Rockwool International og Demex rådgivende ingeniører.
