Elfly Group changes name to NOEMI Aerospace to support global expansion

Elfly Group today announced that, effective February 5, 2026, the company has changed its name to NOEMI Aerospace. The new name reflects the company’s long-term strategy and global ambitions. “NOEMI” stands for “No Emissions” and aligns directly with the company’s mission to deliver zero-emission regional aviation solutions.
Founded in Norway, Elfly Group’s original name, meaning “electric aircraft” in Norwegian, reflected the company’s origins and early development phase. As the company expands internationally, leadership determined that a globally intuitive and scalable brand identity was required.
“This is a strategic decision to support long-term value creation and international growth,” said Eric Lithun, Founder and CEO. “NOEMI clearly communicates our mission and technology. It is simple, globally relevant, and designed to support expansion across markets.”
By aligning the corporate identity with its aircraft program, the company adopts a single, unified brand platform intended to simplify communication, strengthen market positioning, and concentrate brand equity under one name.
The name change does not affect the company’s operations, ownership or strategic direction.
