Vard Electro signerer serviceavtale med Aker QRILL Company

Vard Electro har signert en treårig serviceavtale med Aker QRILL Company, en ledende aktør innen bærekraftig krillhøsting. Avtalen omfatter en flåte med fire krillfartøy og to lasteskip.
En sentral del av avtalen er tilgang på reservedeler for hele flåten, slik at kritiske komponenter er tilgjengelig når det trengs. Dette bidrar til å redusere nedetid og mer forutsigbar drift av flåten.
I tillegg til reservedelsstøtten, så inkluderer serviceavtalen også årlig forebyggende vedlikehold, teknisk støtte og mannskapsopplæring for Antarctic Endurance – et moderne krillfartøy levert av VARD i 2019. Skipet er utstyrt med en komplett SeaQ-pakke innen bro, automasjon, fremdrift- og kommunikasjonssystemer, og opererer året rundt under krevende forhold i Sørishavet. Opplæringen gjør mannskapet i stand til å utføre nødvendige reservedelsbytter under lange tokt.
– Å operere i Sørishavet stiller høye krav til både teknologi og driftssikkerhet. Denne avtalen med Vard Electro sikrer oss nødvendig støtte og tilgang på reservedeler, samtidig som Antarctic Endurance får dedikert vedlikehold og teknisk oppfølging, sier Sindre Skjong, Chief Projects & Operations Officer i Aker QRILL Company.
Med planlagt vedlikehold, teknisk støtte og garanterte responstider gir avtalen økt forutsigbarhet og redusert risiko for operasjonell nedetid.
– En serviceavtale er først og fremst et langsiktig partnerskap. Den gjør det mulig for oss å jobbe tett sammen med kundene våre, bygge tillit og sikre forutsigbare operasjoner, sier Francisco Lima, VP Retrofit & Service i Vard Electro.
