bob junior and Evan Klar announce EP "P.S I Love You" - first single "eye 2 eye" out August 29

Following the success of their single "Just Like The Last Time" earlier this year, bob junior and Evan Klar return with their second collaboration - the heartfelt, hook-laden indie pop gem "eye 2 eye". Their previous work together quickly caught the attention of NRK P3, who described the song as “a catchy and melancholic summer tune that warms my indie heart.”

"eye 2 eye" carries the same sharp pop sensibility, but this time it’s both sweet and vulnerable - a tribute to sticking together, even when you don’t always see things the same way.

“Life has its ups and downs, and so do relationships – but this song is a tribute to my beloved partner, who always stands firmly by my side. A rock I’m forever grateful for, even if we don’t always see eye to eye on everything,” says bob junior.

Evan Klar adds:

“Underneath the shell of this song about love for our partners, there’s a special sprinkling of irony. You see, when Bob and I write together, we weave our way through a maze of compromise, challenging each other’s ideas to the point where I’ll even ask him to ‘sell me a lyric’ if I’m not convinced. We don’t always see eye 2 eye, but it’s clear as day we see heart to heart – and for that, we’re as cute as this song.”

bob junior is a Norwegian-Chilean artist, songwriter and producer, known for his energetic and playful approach to indie and alternative pop. With two albums under his belt - friends, vol. 1 & 2 - he has collaborated with notable indie acts such as The Walters, Dent May, Jordana, and Bethany Cosentino (Best Coast). He has also co-written and co-produced several tracks for his brother, boy pablo.

Evan Klar is a Berlin-based artist, songwriter and producer with roots in Australia, whose sound moves between alt-pop, indie and the electronic underground. His growing catalogue includes collaborations and upcoming releases with AVAION, Lost Frequencies, Alok, Roe Byrne, Elif, Movado, San Holo and more. Behind the scenes, he has contributed to multiple top ten placements in both Australia and Germany. In 2025, he played a key role in the debut album of Kayla Shyx (Jive/Sony Germany), which entered the German album charts at No. 7. He has also performed live with Charli xcx.
