Chasing our first stage win: Uno-X Mobility Cycling unveils 2025 Tour de France line-up
Uno-X Mobility Cycling is heading to the Tour de France for the third year in a row – with its most competitive line-up yet and one clear ambition: to win a stage.

After coming close in both 2023 and 2024, the team is aiming to take that final step in 2025. This year’s squad blends experience and new talent, with three riders set to make their Tour debut. It’s built for breakaways, bold racing – and for leaving a mark on every stage.
“This was the hardest selection we’ve ever made,” says Thor Hushovd, General Manager of Uno-X Mobility Cycling AS. “Some very strong riders miss out – and that says a lot about how far we’ve come as a team. Every year we raise the bar. We’re still chasing the big one: a Tour stage win. The 2025 route rewards brave racing, and this team is made for that.”
One of the most difficult decisions was to leave out veteran sprinter Alexander Kristoff, who could have started his 12th Tour de France in what is expected to be his final season.
“Leaving out Alexander was incredibly tough,” says Hushovd.
“He absolutely deserved a final Tour appearance, and I’m confident he would have delivered – just like he always does. But this year, we’ve chosen Søren Wærenskjold as our main sprinter. He’s shown he can win sprints against the very best. Together with Stian Fredheim, he forms a promising duo. It’s a decision that also reflects the future of our team.”
For the first time, twin brothers Anders and Tobias Halland Johannessen will ride the Tour de France together. Anders secured his spot with a strong June campaign, culminating in a GC win at the Tour of Slovenia. Tobias, meanwhile, finished an impressive 5th overall at Critérium du Dauphiné, which concluded on Sunday – the best GC result ever by a Norwegian in the race.
“We want to be in the mix every day,” says Sports Director Gabriel Rasch.
“This team is built to ride aggressively – to shape the stages, not just follow wheels. We have riders for every scenario: breakaways, climbs, sprints. From stage one to the final day in Paris, we’ll be chasing results.”

About the race
The 112th edition of the Tour de France starts on 5 July in Lille and ends on 21 July in Paris. The 3,320-kilometre route features a dynamic opening week in northern France, the legendary Mont Ventoux, three brutal Pyrenean stages finishing on Hautacam, and Alpine summit finales on Col de la Loze and La Plagne. The race concludes with a new twist: three ascents of Montmartre followed by a final sprint on the Champs-Élysées.
