Uno-X Mobility is back for the 2025 Tour de France! After an intense wait, the men’s team has secured an exclusive invite to the world’s biggest cycling race. Competing as a UCI ProTeam, the second tier of international cycling, the team required a wild card entry from race organizer ASO.

“This is a great accomplishment for our team. We have worked hard for this invitation, and it feels fantastic to finally have the confirmation. The competition for a wild card has perhaps never been tougher, but we have proven that we belong at this level. This invitation is a recognition of the work put in and the way Uno-X has raced over the last years,” says General Manager Thor Hushovd of Uno-X Mobility Cycling AS.

“It’s a great relief to finally have the confirmation. Being able to showcase ourselves on the biggest stage means a lot, both for the team and for our partners.”

With the ambition of making an impact on the race, Uno-X Mobility’s goals for 2025 include winning a stage and chasing the polka dot jersey.

“We came close last year, but this time, we are aiming for the very top. We want to make the Tour de France a summer spectacle for everyone supporting us, and our main goal is undoubtedly a stage win. We have had it in our sights for a long time – now we are ready to take it. On top of that, we will fight for the polka dot jersey, maybe even further than last year. I think we looked sharp in that jersey,” says Hushovd with a smile.

The Uno-X Mobility team, part of Reitan Retail, has built a reputation over the years as a team that dares to challenge the biggest names in cycling, with an attacking style and a relentless pursuit of stage wins. 2025 will be no exception, promises Hushovd.

“The Tour de France is the toughest cycling race in the world, but we have never been better prepared than we are now. We have a stronger team than ever, fast and modern equipment, and solid partners backing us. We dream big and will seize every opportunity to attack in true Uno-X style”, he says.

“We will fight hard and continue to make our mark with the same aggressive racing. We will seize opportunities, push our limits, and believe in victory – even against the biggest teams. Everything is in place for us to succeed,” Hushovd continues.

The invitation marks another important step in Uno-X Mobility’s development as a team.

"With three consecutive years in the Tour de France, Uno-X Mobility is cementing its place in the world's biggest cycling race. What once seemed like a wild dream has now become a tradition," says Ole Robert Reitan, Chairman of Uno-X Mobility Cycling AS and CEO of Reitan Retail.

"The team has been built step by step, just like we build businesses – with clear values, long-term commitment, and relentless effort. We have always believed that those who dare to think big, and who combine dreams with passion and execution, will succeed. Now, I am incredibly excited to follow the team in the greatest event of the summer – and perhaps most of all, to see our riders chase stage wins in true Uno-X style,” Reitan concludes.

The men’s Tour de France kicks off on July 5 in Lille, France, and will traditionally conclude on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. As part of the UCI Women’s WorldTour, Uno-X Mobility’s women’s team is automatically qualified for the Tour de France Femmes, which starts on July 26.
