Now, space disco veteran Prins Thomas, who, together with DJ Isoebel, forms the duo Double Trouble, has created a delightful remix of Andreas Rotevatn's track “Berre kom heim.”

Andreas Rotevatn released his first solo album, "Av daude gror," just before the summer. Now, space disco veteran Prins Thomas, who forms the duo Double Trouble with DJ Isoebel, has created a remix of the track “Berre kom heim,” which is out today!
The track offers one last taste of summer and marks the duo’s first release.
"Av daude gror" received strong reviews—Audun Vinger in DN described it as "catchy, sensitive, and intricate songs" in “heartfelt, honest, and bold Norwegian.” Tor Hammerø in Nettavisen gave it a 5-star rating, noting that the album “grooves and sweats nonstop!”
It was precisely this focus on groove and danceability that led Rotevatn to reach out to Prins Thomas for a remix. “I’m no stranger to pulling out a drum machine or an analog synth in the studio, and I’ve definitely drawn a lot of inspiration from club music and electronica in my songwriting,” says Andreas. “So it felt right for Double Trouble to take the tracks one step closer to the dance floor with their remix!”
Andreas Rotevatn (b. 1989) is in many ways a divided artist who still stands firmly in both aspects.
On one hand, he has a rural upbringing in Nordfjordeid, and on the other, over 10 years of experience as an artist in the big city. Rotevatn has a love for functional and danceable music, despite an extensive education at several elite music schools. He is a Norwegian Grammy-nominated and award-winning composer with broad appeal and strong streaming numbers. Rotevatn draws lyrical inspiration from the past, through Håvamål, Ivar Aasen, and the Bible, while also being influenced by modern sounds from synths and drum machines. The acoustic and improvisational meet the electronic and planned. Somewhere in the middle, in symbiosis, is where Rotevatn thrives best!
Prins Thomas has worked as a producer, DJ, and remixer for several decades, has been nominated for the Norwegian Grammy award multiple times, and has millions of streams on Spotify. He was one of the founders of Oslo-disco, or space-disco, which caused the underground scene to explode in the early 2000s. Together with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and Todd Terje, they blended disco rhythms, newer drum machines, older synths, and effects into a wonderfully eclectic electro-acoustic danceable mix.
Isoebel from Kolbotn is a new name on the Oslo DJ scene. She has frequented the club scene in Oslo for a long time and has recently stepped into the DJ booth. Prins Thomas took Isoebel under his wing, and together they form the duo Double Trouble, now debuting with their first release.
