Havila Voyages appoints new CFO

Havila Voyages has hired Aleksander Røynesdal (44) as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Røynesdal holds a degree in Business Economics and comes from the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Norgas Carriers. He possesses extensive experience in the finance and capital markets within the shipping and maritime transport industry.

"We had many highly qualified candidates under consideration, and Aleksander emerged as our top choice. Aleksander has relevant experience in publicly traded companies and has worked for organizations looking ahead to a greener industry. With his analytical and strategic mindset combined with a professional approach, we are confident that Aleksander will contribute to advancing our work," said CEO Bent Martini.

"Aleksander is a commercial CFO with a broad network in the maritime sector, both in Norway and internationally, including banks, investors, suppliers, and other relevant entities. He also has a strong background in capital markets related to ship financing and fleets, which is comparable to our business.
