This collaboration marks Cyviz's entry into the Government sector in India, representing the company's commitment to advancing critical infrastructure projects.

Established in 1999 under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, INCOIS plays a vital role in providing ocean information and advisory services to society, government agencies, and the scientific community.

The newly acquired project involves setting up a Network Operation Centre (NOC) at INCOIS's new facilities coming up at their Hyderabad Headquarters, focusing on enhancing disaster mitigation capabilities.

"We’re honored to collaborate with INCOIS on this critical project. Cyviz’ technology will play a crucial role in supporting INCOIS's mission to provide 24/7 monitoring and warning services for coastal populations. This venture not only marks our entry into the Indian Government sector but also positions us as a key player in disaster management and mitigation projects", says Espen Gylvik, CEO of Cyviz.

With a well-established reputation for its dedicated work in issuing tsunami warnings and conducting coastal monitoring, INCOIS holds a crucial position as a major contributor in the Indian Ocean Rim. The organization is responsible for providing warnings to all nations bordering the Indian Ocean.

The delivery and its implementation are expected to be completed in early 2024. In alignment with INCOIS's 25th-anniversary celebration hosting over 100 scientists from across the globe, the system is scheduled to be inaugurated in February 2024.

"Our delivery team will ensure the timely implementation of the project. This collaboration provides a platform to showcase Cyviz’s capabilities and sets the stage for future opportunities in large control room projects with the Government and Defence segments in this region", says Gylvik.
