Byggmästare Anders J Ahlström Holding AB (publ): Delårsrapport 2023 tredje kvartalet
Byggmästare Anders J Ahlström Holding AB (publ) publicerar idag delårsrapport avseende tredje kvartalet 2023 för moderbolaget respektive för koncernen.
Juli – September 2023
- Justerat substansvärde uppgick till 267 kronor den 30 september 2023, en minskning från 340 kronor per 30 juni 2023. Innehavet i Volta Trucks har skrivits ned till noll kronor.
- Under perioden uppgick totala investeringar till 46,1 mkr. Investering har skett i Volta om 46,1 mkr.
- Nettoomsättning uppgick till 222,8 mkr (234,0).
- Rörelseresultat exklusive orealiserade värdeförändringar på finansiella instrument och effekter från omklassificeringar i innehaven uppgick till -27,1 mkr (33,3).
- Resultat före skatt uppgick till -557,4 mkr (382,7) och resultat per aktie uppgick till -77,14 kr (52,51).
Januari – September 2023
- Justerat substansvärde uppgick till 267 kronor den 30 september 2023, en minskning från 330 kronor per 31 december 2022. Innehavet i Volta Trucks har skrivits ned till noll kronor.
- Under perioden uppgick totala investeringar till 86,1 mkr. Investering har skett i Safe Life om 30,0 mkr, i Sobrera om 10 mkr och Volta om 46,1 mkr.
- Nettoomsättning uppgick till 720,0 mkr (714,9).
- Rörelseresultat exklusive orealiserade värdeförändringar på finansiella instrument och effekter från omklassificeringar i innehaven uppgick till 40,8 mkr (25,3).
- Resultat före skatt uppgick till -675,0 mkr (556,2) och resultat per aktie uppgick till -92,91 kr (77,74).
Väsentliga händelser under tredje kvartalet 2023
Byggmästaren informerade den 10 augusti om att Volta Trucks batterileverantör inlett ett Chapter 11-förfarande i USA, vilket ökade osäkerheten och kunde leda till en potentiell värdepåverkan på Byggmästarens innehav. Med mer klarhet tydde dock inget på att batterileveranser inte skulle fullföljas. Befintliga ägare uttryckte vid tidpunkten också stöd i avvaktan på ytterligare klarhet. Byggmästaren skrev i rapporten för det andra kvartalet ned värdet på aktierna i Volta Trucks med ca 23 procent.
Väsentliga händelser efter periodens utgång
Byggmästaren informerade den 16 oktober 2023 om att styrelsen i Volta Trucks beslutat att ansöka om konkurs. Successivt ökad osäkerhet som en följd av nyheten den 10 augusti omöjliggjorde till slut, trots stora ansträngningar, finansiering.
Byggmästaren ägde den 30 juni 2023, direkt och indirekt, ca 10 procent av aktierna i Volta Trucks. Dessa har ett anskaffningsvärde om 212 miljoner kronor och var den 30 juni 2023 värderade till 440 miljoner kronor, motsvarande 56 kronor i substansvärde per aktie för Byggmästaren.
Under tredje kvartalet 2023 har Byggmästaren investerat ca 4 miljoner euro, motsvarande ca 6,50 kronor i substansvärde per aktie i Byggmästaren, i ett säkerställt lån till Volta Trucks.
Vid avgivandet av denna rapport är konkursförfarandena i de relevanta jurisdiktionerna, framförallt Storbritannien och Sverige, ej avslutade och utfall kan med full säkerhet ej bedömas. Byggmästaren har i denna rapport skrivit ned värdena på såväl aktier som lån till noll kronor.
Byggmästaren har efter periodens slut investerat ytterligare 20 miljoner kronor i Safe Life. Detta i samband med en större finansieringsrunda som, tillsammans med ytterligare bankfaciliteter, möjliggöra ytterligare förvärv. Två sådana har också hittills genomförts i USA under fjärde kvartalet.
Byggmästarens dotterbolag Fasticon AB har efter periodens utgång avtalat om att avyttra sin verksamhet inom utbildning (STF/BFAB). Transaktionen beräknas vara genomförd innan den 31 december 2023.
