Virtune AB (Publ) (“Virtune”) har genomfört den månatliga rebalanseringen för oktober 2023 av Virtune Crypto Top 10 Index ETP, Nordens första kryptoindex-ETP
Stockholm, 1 november 2023 - Virtune meddelar idag att man har slutfört den månatliga rebalanseringen för Virtune Crypto Top 10 Index ETP SEK / EUR som är listad på Nasdaq Stockholm för både SEK-varianten (ISIN-kod SE0020052207, tickernamn VIR10SEK) och EUR-varianten (ISIN-kod SE0020052215, tickernamn VIR10EUR).
Fördelning per den 31 oktober (innan rebalansering):

I samband med denna månads rebalansering sker ingen förändring i de kryptovalutor som ingår i Virtune Crypto Top 10 Index ETP SEK / EUR.
Rebalanseringen sker enligt det index som ETPn följer, Virtune Vinter Crypto Top 10 Index och detta är den sjätte rebalanseringen sedan produkten noterades den 15 maj i år. Syftet med den frekventa månatliga rebalanseringen är att säkerställa att ETPn alltid speglar rådande marknadsförhållanden och för att kunna absorbera volatilitet i kryptomarknaden på ett effektivt sätt.
Virtune Crypto Top 10 Index ETP SEKs utfall för oktober blev +16.32% och uppvisar därmed en avkastning om +14,36% sedan noteringen den 15 maj.
I oktober månad upplevde kryptomarknaden en stark utveckling där Bitcoin uppvisade en uppgång på 26%. Även altcoins hade en positiv trend där flera av altcoinsen uppvisade stora uppgångar, t ex Chainlink med en uppgång på 38%.
Flera företag, inklusive BlackRock och Fidelity, har ansökt om att lansera Spot Bitcoin ETF:er. Med över 20 biljoner USD i förvaltat kapital som representerar dessa ansökningar har marknadens förväntningar ökat för godkännanden. Dagen för beslut om att godkänna Spot Bitcoin ETF-ansökningarna hos SEC är satt till den 10 januari 2024. Medan godkännande av en amerikansk Bitcoin ETF förväntas, kan ett avslag påverka marknaden negativt.
Bitcoin tenderar att attrahera inflöden av kapital när det finns en ökad global likviditet genom bland annat ekonomisk stimulans. Tidigare Bitcoin-halveringar, som minskar takten med 50% som nya Bitcoins skapas i, har dessutom historiskt följts av prisuppgångar. Nästa halvering är planerad i april 2024.
