Kitron skal levere komplette EMS-tjenester til BRC Solar

(2023-10-18) BRC Solar GmbH har valgt Kitron til å produsere Power Optimizer, et innovativt nytt produkt som forbedrer ytelsen til solcellepaneler.

Verdien av avtalen forventes å nå et årlig nivå på ca. EUR 10 millioner innen tre år. Produksjonen vil skje ved Kitrons anlegg i Litauen.

Ytelsen til solcellepaneler forringes når noen moduler koblet i serie er skyggelagt eller hvis moduler har forskjellige justeringer eller helninger. Power Optimizer løser disse problemene og kan kombineres med en rekke paneler og vekselrettere som allerede er på markedet.

Kitron vil produsere hele Power Optimizer-produktet, fra kretskortmontering til toppnivåmontering og testing. På grunn av de store volumene som forventes, vil produksjonen være svært automatisert.
