Rendra AS and Takenaka Corporation Announce New BIM Partnership Agreement

[Oslo, Norway]: Rendra AS, a company within the JDM Technology Group, today announced a new partnership with Takenaka Corporation of Japan. The signing of this three-year enterprise agreement, Rendra’s first in Japan, affirms and supports Rendra’s strategy of becoming a global software supplier for the AEC industry. 

Working with Takenaka Corporation means that Rendra will be able to further develop the StreamBIM collaborative platform together with an experienced and accomplished partner.

StreamBIM enables users to view Building Information Models (BIM) on a variety of devices, including PCs, smart phones, and tablets, as well as managing a variety of document types including 2D drawings. StreamBIM helps to facilitate communication and construction activities for the entire building cycle, from design and construction to maintenance and management.

To date Takenaka has deployed StreamBIM on more than 60 projects and this agreement will empower Takenaka to further extend its digital construction expertise. Rendra is very pleased to sign this BIM partnership and to support Takenaka’s goal to digitize their processes.

As part of the BIM partnership agreement, Rendra will establish an office in Japan and work alongside Takenaka’s progressive R&D department, and with Takenaka’s professional project delivery teams.
