Wizz Air expands at Avinor Oslo airport
In April, the airline starts with four weekly flights to Budapest, and in September Wizz Air will start up a daily route between Oslo and Krakow. Wizz Air har previously announced flight to Gdansk, and with the new routes, the airline will have 18 weekly departures from Oslo airport.
- There is a significant growth in the in-bound tourism from Poland, and we are pleased to see Wizz Air increasing their offering to travelers from Oslo. A well-developed route network is essential for the travel industry and Norwegian businesses, says Jasper Spruit, director og Traffic Development at Avinor.

In January, 3.5 million passengers used Avinor's airports. This is an increase of nine percent compared to January 2024. The largest increase is among international travelers, with the number of travelers rising by 13 percent. The number of domestic travelers is six percent higher than in January last year.
