Oslo Airport launches latest link with LOT Polish Airlines

Avinor’s Oslo Airport welcomes the inaugural flight of its latest airline partner, LOT Polish Airlines, and celebrates the arrival of the gateway’s 10th Star Alliance carrier.

Welcoming Avinor’s 21st link between its airports and Poland, LOT Polish Airlines’ operation is the latest to join a dynamic fast-growing country market for the Norwegian airport company.Operated by the Polish flag carrier’s three-class E195s with twice-daily flights (except Saturdays), the high-frequency service will ultimately target business passengers wanting to travel between the two capital cities, as well as onward connections.

“We’re very proud to welcome another Star Alliance carrier to Oslo, providing numerous global connections for Norwegian travellers on our new partner’s extensive route network,” comments Jasper Spruit, VP Traffic Development, Avinor (right) with Gaute Riise, Traffic Development Director, Avinor, at the celebrations to mark the arrival of LOT Polish Airlines’ link to Warsaw Chopin.
